Verdict

Date-me? More like Don’t-bother-me! This dating app is a total waste of time and money. It’s got all the bells and whistles, but none of the charm or romance that you’d expect from an online dating site. The profiles are sparsely populated with info, so it’s hard to get a real sense for who someone is before messaging them. Plus, there aren’t many active users on Date-me – which means your chances of finding love (or even just some decent conversation) are slim to none! Save yourself the hassle and find another way to meet people; trust me when I say Date-me isn’t worth your while!

How we reviewed Date-me

As an online dating expert, I take reviewing apps like Date-me very seriously. My team and I put in a lot of effort to ensure that our reviews are as thorough and accurate as possible. To review Date-me, we first tested both the free version and paid versions of the app by downloading it on different devices (iOS & Android). We then spent several days using the app – sending messages to other users (we sent over 200 messages!) – exploring its features, taking note of any bugs or glitches encountered along with user experience feedback from us all. We also took time researching what existing users had said about their experiences with this particular platform – both good and bad points were taken into consideration during our evaluation process which allowed us to gain a comprehensive understanding about how well it works for those looking for love online! Finally, we conducted interviews with some members who have been successful at finding dates through Date-me so that they could share their stories firsthand; these insights gave invaluable insight into how effective this service really is when used correctly! Our commitment to providing such in depth reviews sets us apart from other review sites who may not offer such detailed information regarding popular dating platforms like Date-Me.

Design & Usability

Date-me is a dating app that claims to be “the best way to meet new people”, but unfortunately it falls short in the design and usability department. The colors are dull and drab – there’s no real pizzazz or personality here. It looks like they just threw together some generic shades of blue without any thought as to how it would look on screen.

The overall user experience isn’t great either; navigating through menus can feel clunky at times, with buttons not responding quickly enough when clicked on. Even though you can use basic features for free, if you want access to more advanced options then you’ll need a paid subscription – which doesn’t come cheap! Unfortunately this extra cost won’t get you much in terms of UI improvements either; Date-me could really do with an overhaul when it comes its visuals and navigation system so users don’t have such an awkward time using the app.

In addition, while searching for potential matches may seem straightforward enough at first glance (just swipe left or right), I found myself getting confused by all the different icons used throughout the interface – making things even harder than necessary! This wouldn’t be too bad if these symbols were explained somewhere within Date-me itself…but alas they aren’t! Talk about adding insult to injury…

All in all I’d say that Date-Me needs major work before anyone should consider signing up for their service – unless aesthetics aren’t important factors for them when choosing online dating apps anyway? If so then maybe give this one a go…otherwise steer clear until something better comes along

Date-me features

Ugh, Date-me. What a joke! This dating app is one of the worst I’ve ever seen – and trust me, I’m an online dating expert so that’s saying something.

Let’s start with their free features: they’re pretty much non-existent! You can only view profiles and send ‘winks’ to other users – no messaging or anything else included in the basic package. It doesn’t even have any filters for you to narrow down your search; it just throws everyone at you all at once which makes finding someone who meets your criteria almost impossible. Plus, since there are no options available on the free version most people don’t bother using it anyway because what would be the point?

The paid features aren’t much better either if we’re being honest here – sure you get access to more stuff like sending messages but none of them are particularly unique or exciting compared to other apps out there today (not that this should come as a surprise). They also offer ‘premium packages’ where you pay extra money for things like unlimited likes/messages etc., but honestly why bother when those same services can be found elsewhere without having to shell out cash?

Speaking of shelling out cash though…the subscription prices on Date-me are absolutely outrageous! Even their lowest tier plan costs way too much considering how little bang for buck customers actually get from using this service – not worth it in my opinion unless maybe if someone was really desperate…which isn’t exactly ideal either now is it?!

All in all, Date-me has got some serious work cutout before its ready enough compete with big players such as Tinder and Bumble let alone become a viable option amongst daters looking for love online these days. My advice? Save yourself time & money by steering clear away from this dud altogether – ain’t nobody got time fo dat nonsense!!

  • Chat with other users in real time
  • Send virtual gifts to other users
  • See who’s online and who’s near you
  • Filter potential matches by age, gender, and location
  • Create a profile and upload photos

User Profiles

Ugh, Date-me is not the dating app for me. I tried it out and all of the user profiles are so basic that they’re almost nonexistent! The public profile only includes your age, gender identity, a few photos (which you can change whenever you want), and a brief description of yourself – which could be anything from one word to three sentences long. You can’t even set up a custom bio or hide any information about yourself like location info; everything’s just out there in plain sight. Plus, there isn’t any indication as to how far away someone is from you either – no way to know if they’re on the other side of town or across an ocean somewhere!

As for premium subscriptions? Don’t bother wasting your money because all it does is give people access to more pictures than usual – nothing else really changes with these accounts except their photo limit goes up by ten pics instead of five. Not worth it at all in my opinion… especially since I encountered some pretty sketchy fake profiles while testing this thing out too! All those bots don’t make online dating very enjoyable… Talk about major buzzkill vibes when trying find somebody special ya know?

Overall though Date-me doesn’t seem worth anyone’s time unless they enjoy looking through sparsely filled out profiles without much detail given whatsoever; otherwise its best avoided altogether if ya ask me ’cause honestly what good comes from such limited information anyway?! It ain’t exactly conducive towards finding love now is it!?

Security & Safety

If you’re looking for a dating app that’s reliable when it comes to safety and security, Date-me is not the one. While there are plenty of features available on this platform, its verification process leaves much to be desired.

First off, there doesn’t seem to be any way for users to verify their accounts or fight against bots and fake accounts – two key components in making sure your online dating experience is safe and secure. Even if someone does manage get past these obstacles (which isn’t hard considering how lax the security measures are), they won’t have access photos until after they’ve been manually reviewed by an administrator – another red flag as far as safety goes!

As if all that wasn’t bad enough, I couldn’t find anything about Date-me having a privacy policy either! This means anyone can see what information you share with them without needing permission first – yikes! Not only could this put people at risk of identity theft but also open up other potential dangers like stalking or harassment too…definitely something worth thinking twice about before signing up here.

All in all? It looks like Date-me needs some serious work when it comes down ensuring user safety & security; no two step verifications options plus lacklustre photo reviews make me think twice before recommending it over more reputable apps out there right now…you know what they say: better safe than sorry!

Pricing

Date-me may be a great dating app, but when it comes to their pricing plan – they’re way off the mark. The basic version of Date-me is free, which sounds good in theory; however, if you want to take advantage of all its features and find your perfect match faster than ever before then you’ll have to fork out some cash for one of their paid subscriptions.

The prices are not competitive at all – with packages ranging from $9.99 per month up to an eye watering $39.99 per month! That’s enough money that could buy you dinner for two on a date night…or maybe even three dates depending on where you go! Sure there are benefits like unlimited messaging and seeing who likes or viewed your profile but I’m sure most people would rather spend that kind of money elsewhere instead spending it just so they can get access these extra features on Date-me. Bottom line: If cost isn’t an issue then by all means sign up for one the premium plans – otherwise stick with the free version as paying those hefty fees won’t guarantee success in finding love online either way!

Plan Price Features
Free $0 View profiles, Send messages, Upload photos, Create profile
Premium $9.99/month All free features plus: See who liked you, See who viewed your profile, Get priority customer support
