First off, the free version is pretty limited when it comes to features; you can’t even search for potential matches unless you upgrade to the paid membership. Plus, if someone likes or messages you on BLK Dating (which isn’t very likely), there’s no way of knowing who they are without upgrading first – talk about a major bummer! And don’t get me started on their matching algorithm: all my matches were totally random and had nothing in common with me whatsoever – like seriously? What kind of system is that?!
As far as paid memberships go…well let’s just say I wouldn’t recommend them either! The prices are sky-high compared to other apps out there and most users won’t see any real benefit from paying such an exorbitant fee each month. Even worse than that though is how difficult it was trying to cancel my subscription once I realized what a ripoff BLK Dating really was; after spending hours searching through FAQ pages only then did I finally figure out how terminate my account (and trust me when i say i would’ve much rather been swiping!).
All things considered, while some may be drawn by its promise of finding true love via “unique" features…I’d suggest steering clear away from this dud ASAP before wasting time & money on something so lackluster at best – yikes!!

And forget about getting an indication as far as how close someone is from your current location – that doesn’t exist either! On top of that there really isn’t anything special with having a premium subscription; no extra features or benefits come along with signing up so why bother? I was also disappointed at how many fake accounts were present during my time using BLK Dating – definitely something worth noting before downloading this dud-of-a-dating app.
Overall, don’t waste your time trying out BLK Dating because honestly nothing good will come from investing energy into such an unimpressive platform full o’ flopsies… If I could give zero stars then believe me…I would!
